New Jersey Police Officers Are Referred To As Pigs

In New Jersey, there are a lot of people that use slang and now refer to Police officers as PIGS.  Wikipedia has the following definition: Bacon: Derived from Pigs: often used in the structure “I smell bacon” to warn of the approaching presence of an officer.  I think this name was created from the fact that a lot of Police officers in NJ (New Jersey) are spending much of their time in Donut shops like Duncan Doughnuts, scarfing down a lot of junk food like pigs.  Very often you can see marked cruisers parked outside the parking lot of local doughnut shops all throughout New Jersey.  Instead of giving out a New Jersey traffic ticket, these police officers/pigs/bacon just sit on their butts eating donuts and drinking coffee and getting fat.  Even the following news website talks about this.  Visit it at http://www.newsnet5.com/news/7516014/detail.html
