Police Officers are often called BACON or PIGS for issuing traffic tickets

Many people now refer to Police officers at BACON or PIGS.  Wikipedia has the following definition: Bacon: Derived from Pigs: often used in the structure “I smell bacon” to warn of the approaching presence of an officer.  I think this name was created from the fact that Police Officers often spend time in Donut shops and eat a lot of junk food like pigs.  Very often you can see cruisers parked outside the parking lot of Tim Hortons in Toronto.  Instead of giving out a traffic ticket, these police officers are pigs that just sit on their butts eating donuts and drinking coffee!
