How good is bacon? Would you want to eat it everyday? Does pork taste good enough to convert a vegan of 12 years? Well one woman - through a scientific and totally impartial experiment, of course - has answered these vital questions for us all.
On a 30 day ‘diet’ of eating pork, mandydale (flickr screen name) claims to have not only realized how versatile this meat is, but also to have lost weight.

On the first day of pork, there was an egg and bacon sandwich with fries on the side. On the second came Poulette (a mussel and bacon dish). As you can imagine she soon had to get imaginative, and by the midway point had tried a grilled pear and bacon sandwich, carnitas taco, and kimchi to name just a few of the dishes.
So, the 30 days of pork were a success and it looks the answers to all of the above questions are yes - who knew?
