So you are at the gas station taking a break from a long road trip, when out of the corner of your eye you spot them - Bacon Ranch Pringles. What a concept, your favorite meat mixed with an equally pleasing dairy product, all in a bite sized snack.

Sad to say, these chips are not as delightful as you might think. Although they have a smokey smell, the so-called bacon flavor is utterly disappointing. The ranch flavor has been perfected to a T, but the bacon still has a ways to go. The chip doesn’t even taste like bacon, except for the pre-eating smell.

So take the advice of a bacon blogger and stick to the good ole’ fashioned regular Pringles, or eat some real bacon if it’s an option.
